JUSTIN JONSON, Managing Director

Mr. Jonson is the Principal and Managing Director at Threshold Environmental Pty. Ltd.. An accomplished Restoration Ecologist, he has planned & managed the ecological restoration of 750 HA of cleared land. An innovator in the field, Mr. Jonson readily converted theory into practice while also successfully managing Threshold Environmental over a 5 year period of continued growth. Mr. Jonson is an Honorary Research Fellow at The Centre for Excellence in Natural Resource Management at the Univ. of Western Australia, and Board Member of The Society for Ecological Restoration Australasia (SERA).
Lien hails from Belgium and has experience applying social science research techniques to issues associated with Natural Resource Management in developing countries. She relocated to south-western Australia from 2012 to 2013 to gain hands-on knowledge and experience in ecological restoration. Working as a Restoration Officer, she provided field support in all aspects of the restoration processes, as well as research and general office administration tasks. With two successive seasons of work with Threshold Environmental, she helped restore 350 hectares of cleared land.
Craig Luscombe, Manager – Seed Operations
Craig is a highly skilled seed collector with over 20 years of active experience working with the native flora of south west WA. Drawing from his experience, Craig consistently builds seed collections which are high in species diversity, and which always include those hard-to-find or difficult-to-get species often missed in purely commercially focused seed orders. Working in concert with Threshold Environmental projects from 2011 – 2013, Craig’s knowledge and expertise in native flora and seed collection techniques have substantially improved the quality of on-ground results in our projects.
